DMY Berlin is an international design network for contemporary product design.
Founded in 2003, it is clear that it has now become a place for designers and non-designers to meet, wether you’re looking for new trends, new projects, new products, new tools, new prototypes or, to put it simply, the near future.
It is quite beautiful to see that utopian designs are encouraged, which is always important not only for the mind to create without boundaries but also because unpractical solutions can sometimes help answer everyday problems.
I only wish there were more designer-talks, with active discussions on design matters, particularly when it relates to other disciplines. These were my personal highlights:
